I love to serve this for Easter brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup almonds, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 8 ounces round brie cheese

How To Make baked brie with apples and cranberries

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F
  • Step 2
    Combine apple, almonds, cranberries, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 3
    Stir in melted butter until all ingredients are moistened.
  • Step 4
    Cut brie in half horizontally.
  • Step 5
    Place brie, rind side down, on pie plate.
  • Step 6
    Spoon half of apple mixture onto bottom half of brie and spread evenly.
  • Step 7
    Place top of brie round onto bottom half with the rind side up.
  • Step 8
    Spoon the remaining apple mixture on top and spread evenly.
  • Step 9
    Bake 12-15 minutes, until cheese is soft and beginning to melt.
  • Step 10
    Serve with crackers, apple wedges or toasted baguette slices.
