Baked Brie with Apples and Cranberries

I love to serve this for Easter brunch.

1/2 c
apples, chopped
1/4 c
almonds, sliced
1/4 c
dried cranberries
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/4 tsp
1 Tbsp
butter, melted
8 oz
round brie cheese


1Preheat oven to 350F
2Combine apple, almonds, cranberries, brown sugar and cinnamon.
3Stir in melted butter until all ingredients are moistened.
4Cut brie in half horizontally.
5Place brie, rind side down, on pie plate.
6Spoon half of apple mixture onto bottom half of brie and spread evenly.
7Place top of brie round onto bottom half with the rind side up.
8Spoon the remaining apple mixture on top and spread evenly.
9Bake 12-15 minutes, until cheese is soft and beginning to melt.
10Serve with crackers, apple wedges or toasted baguette slices.
