Ingredients

PLAN/PURCHASE

4 Tbsp
sour cream
1 tsp
dijon mustard (i prefer grey poupon)
1 medium
russet potato
3 Tbsp
olive oil, extra virgin
salt, kosher variety, to taste
black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
4 oz
cheddar cheese, shredded
4 oz
provolone cheese, thinly sliced
4 slice
bacon, diced and cooked
2 Tbsp
chopped green onion, just the green part

How to Make Awesome Loaded Potato Round Appetizers

Step-by-Step

  • 1PREP/PREPARE
  • 2Gather your ingredients.
  • 3Mix the sour cream and dijon mustard together in a small bowl, and reserve.
  • 4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 400f (205c).
  • 5Cut the potato into even 1/4-inch (.6cm) rounds.
  • 6Add the olive oil, salt and pepper to a small bowl.
  • 7Add the sliced potatoes, and toss to evenly coat.
  • 8Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • 9Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through and starting to brown, about 20 – 25 minutes.
  • 10Remove from the oven and reserve.
  • 11Chef’s Note: Leave the potatoes on the baking sheet.
  • 12Add some provolone cheese.
  • 13Add some cheddar cheese.
  • 14Add some diced bacon.
  • 15Pop under a broiler until the cheese is bubbly, about 2 – 3 minutes.
  • 16PLATE/PRESENT
  • 17Garnish with some green onion, and top with some sour cream mix. Enjoy.
  • 18Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
