artichoke cheese squares

I made these for a appetizer for a candle party!!! OH they were a hit!! I did add a little more spice than here!!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 3 - clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 12 ounces artichoke hearts
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 pound cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

How To Make artichoke cheese squares

  • Step 1
    Drain and finely chop artichoke hearts.
  • Step 2
    Saute onion and garlic in butter.
  • Step 3
    Mix eggs, artichokes, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley and seasonings.
  • Step 4
    Add onions and garlic.
  • Step 5
    Turn into buttered 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes or until set.
  • Step 6
    Cut into squares.
