If you would like it a little spicier spread add 2 Tablespoons of mango chutney to the cream cheese mixture before spreading into the pie plate. You will want to double this recipe- it is that good.

- 8 oz
- cream cheese , softened
- 1 c
- shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c
- sour cream
- 1/2 c
- finely chopped dried apricots or 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- 1/3 c
- sliced almonds
- assorted crackers
How to Make Apricot Spread-baked
- 1Heat oven to 350^.
Mix cream cheese and cheddar in a medium bowl until well blended. Add sour cream and apricots; mix well.
- 2Spread into a 9-inch oven safe dish or pie plate; sprinkle with nuts.
- 3Bake 25-30 minutes or until nuts are lightly toasted and spread is heated through.
Serve with crackers.
This is great with other dried fruit such as blueberries or cranberries or cherries. Sprinkle top with candied sugar pecans or walnuts.
