Apricot Spread-baked

If you would like it a little spicier spread add 2 Tablespoons of mango chutney to the cream cheese mixture before spreading into the pie plate. You will want to double this recipe- it is that good.

Ingredients

8 ozcream cheese , softened

1 cshredded cheddar cheese

1/2 csour cream

1/2 cfinely chopped dried apricots or 1/2 cup apricot preserves

1/3 csliced almonds

·assorted crackers
How to Make Apricot Spread-baked
- Heat oven to 350^.
Mix cream cheese and cheddar in a medium bowl until well blended. Add sour cream and apricots; mix well. - Spread into a 9-inch oven safe dish or pie plate; sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until nuts are lightly toasted and spread is heated through.
Cool slightly.
Serve with crackers. - Note:
This is great with other dried fruit such as blueberries or cranberries or cherries. Sprinkle top with candied sugar pecans or walnuts.
