Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk hot pork sausage
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pound velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon basil, dried or 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder with parsley
- 1 pound mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
- 1 pound loaf cocktail rye bread
How To Make a little hanky panky

Step 1Saute sausage and beef in a large frying pan. Drain in a colander and blot with paper towel to absorb as much grease as possible.

Step 2Combine sausage mixture and Velveeta cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Add Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder and blend well.

Step 3Spread mixture on cocktail rye and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top. Bake at 350-degrees for 10 minutes.

Step 4Hanky Pankies may be made ahead and frozen. Bake for 12 minutes if frozen.
