bulk hot pork sausage
1 lb
lean ground beef
1 lb
velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp
basil, dried or 1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp
garlic powder with parsley
1 lb
mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
1 lb
loaf cocktail rye bread

How to Make A Little Hanky Panky


  • 1Saute sausage and beef in a large frying pan. Drain in a colander and blot with paper towel to absorb as much grease as possible.
  • 2Combine sausage mixture and Velveeta cheese and cook until cheese is melted.

    Add Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder and blend well.
  • 3Spread mixture on cocktail rye and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.

    Bake at 350-degrees for 10 minutes.
  • 4Hanky Pankies may be made ahead and frozen.
    Bake for 12 minutes if frozen.
