My son, Alexander and I love pizza, but as you know it has way too many calories in a slice. We wanted something in the way of pizza, and something that was cheap. This is what we came up with.

Ingredients

  • 1 - loaf of ciabatta bread
  • - olive oil cooking spray
  • - sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
  • - sliced roma tomatoes
  • - garlic salt, ground pepper and dried basil
  • - olive oil, extra virgin

How To Make tomato and mozzaerella ciabatta bread

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 400 degrees. Slice Ciabatta bread lenght wise and spray with olive oil cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Slice FRESH mozzarella cheese, slice Roma tomatoes, layer onto Ciabatta, season with garlic salt, pepper and dried Basil. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and bake for about 10 - 15 minutes, until cheese is melted.
