Several years a;o my neighbor saw all of the cucumbers that I was growing in my garden and asked if I liked cucumber pickles. OH, Yes, I do, she gave me this recipe. Everyone who has eaten them, loves the freshness. They are good for several days/weeks, won't spoil and stay pretty crispy.

Ingredients For refrigerator pickles

  • 6 lg
    cucumbers
  • 1 c
    onion, sliced thin
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar

How To Make refrigerator pickles

  • 1
    Combine vinegar, salt & sugar and heat to dissolve. Let cool!

    Pour over thinly sliced cucumbers, onion and spices
  • 3
    Store in refrigerator. May be eaten the next day. Delicious!
