How to Make Onion Rings
- 1Peel onions and slice into rings.
- 2Dredge the rings in buttermilk then in the flour. Let sit 5 minutes.
- 3Quickly dredge again in the buttermilk. Then dredge in the cornmeal to coat. Let sit 5 minutes.
- 4Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pan. Deep fry the rings until golden. Drain 5 minutes on paper towels.
