Very good, cheesy, gooey, mushrooms, developed by my 22 yr old daughter

Ingredients

  • 12 - fresh whole mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 - onion, minced
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make jessica's stuffed mushrooms

  • Step 1
    wash mushrooms with a damp paper towel. mince reserved stems.
  • Step 2
    saute onions, add stems and garlic
  • Step 3
    remove from heat, add cream cheese and parmesan cheese and salt, pepper to taste
  • Step 4
    fill mushroom caps with the prepared stuffing. sprinkle additional parmesan cheese if desired
  • Step 5
    bake at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes until mushroom juice is visible in pan
