Andrew, a staff member of mine, brings this every year to our Christmas Eve Party. It is yummy and not too spicy.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2 - 8 oz cream cheese-softened
  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 4-6 - jalapenos,fresh diced and deseeded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese-shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3-4 - scallions, chopped
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2-1 - sleeve buttery cracker-crumbled
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter,melted
  • ***PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES***

How To Make jalapeno popper dip

  • Step 1
Combine all ingredients (except topping ingredients) in a medium bowl. Mix well.
  • Step 2
Place in a greased 9x9 baking dish.
  • Step 3
Combine the topping ingredients. Place on top of jalapeno mixture.
  • Step 4
Bake at 350* for 20-30 minutes until topping is browned. Serve with corn chips, tostitos chips, or crackers of choice.
  • Step 5
***note the seeds will make it firey hot!!!!*** I have made it leaving some seeds (about 2 jalapenos worth), it was great. Just a little kick to it. So depending on how much heat you want, go seedless to insanity (leaving in all seeds) :-)
