georgia dawg food dip

25 year old recipe. Named by my daughter Farrah. Very portable, can be eaten without utensils. We like to make and serve it on disposable platters; great for picnics and days out on the lake.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces block not whipped cream cheese
- 15 ounces canned chili. use your favorite brand
- 1/3 cup diced black olives
- 1/3 cup finely chopped green onion
- 1/3 cup red bell or yellow pepper finely diced
- 1/3 cup loosely packed finely chopped cilantro
- - serve with large bag of tortilla chips (we like the round style chips)
How To Make georgia dawg food dip

Step 1*assemble and serve on large 15" platter, preferably with a small lip* Spread softened cream cheese on bottom of platter. Approximately 1/2" thick.

Step 2Completely cover cream cheese with chili, distribute evenly.

Step 3Then add chopped vegetables in order listed.

Step 4Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 15 minutes. Serve with chips.
