Ingredients
- - 1 can white beans, rinsed and drained, 15 oz
- - 4 to 5 cloves garlic, sliced
- - 1/4 tsp. salt
- - 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- - 1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil
- - 1/4 cup snipped fresh basil, optional
- - pinch crushed red pepper, optional
- - 1 tsp. olive oil
- - assorted fresh vegetables
- - toasted baguette slices
How To Make garlicky white bean dip

Step 1In food processor, mix white beans, garlic, salt and pepper. With machine running, drizzle in enough of the 1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil to make desired consistency.

Step 2If desired, stir in basil and sprinkle with crushed red pepper. Drizzle with 1 tsp. olive oil. Serve with vegetables and baguette. Note: the garlic flavor will increase the longer the dip stands.
