cream cheese guacamole

I love avocados. My husband? Not so much. So as an alternative, I came up with this little ditty that works for both of us when I make my 7-layer taco dip. Please enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 oz. package reduced fat onion/chive cream cheese, softened
  • 3 to 4 - ripe avocados, can use more to taste or if small
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 to 1/4 cup lime juice (can use lemon juice)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped (optional)

How To Make cream cheese guacamole

  • Step 1
    Mash and stir all ingredients until mixed well. Can adjust spices and lime (or lemon) juice to taste. Store covered in the refrigerator. Sometimes I add some green chilies and/or chili powder for extra zip.
