I love avocados. My husband? Not so much. So as an alternative, I came up with this little ditty that works for both of us when I make my 7-layer taco dip. Please enjoy.

Ingredients For cream cheese guacamole
8 oz. package reduced fat onion/chive cream cheese, softened
3 to 4
ripe avocados, can use more to taste or if small
1/8 to 1/4 c
lime juice (can use lemon juice)
onion, chopped (optional)
How To Make cream cheese guacamole
Mash and stir all ingredients until mixed well. Can adjust spices and lime (or lemon) juice to taste. Store covered in the refrigerator. Sometimes I add some green chilies and/or chili powder for extra zip.
