Ingredients
- - **anaheim peppers
- - **cheddar cheese, grated
- - **onion, diced
- - **ground beef
- - **thin bacon slices
How To Make bacon cheeseburger stuffed anaheim

Step 1I threw this dish together without regards to the amount of each ingredient, but I'm guessing a 1/2 lb beef would make approx. 6 stuffed peppers.

Step 2Brown your ground beef and break up as it cooks. Allow to cool then add grated cheese and diced onion and mix together.

Step 3Cut just the top part of your pepper off longways. Remove seeds.

Step 4Gently stuff in as much ground beef mixture as you can.

Step 5Using one to two slices of bacon, depending on how long your pepper is, wrap around and secure with a toothpick.

Step 6I cooked these on a smoker and it took about 1 1/2-2 hrs at 225°. You can also cook in the oven at 375° for approx. 35-45 min. Or grill with indirect heat. All your trying to do is cook until the bacon is done.
