These are a very tasty appetizer or anytime snack...I first made them for a New Years Eve party, and got rave reviews...I adapted this recipe from a ham type pinwheel my Aunt always made...my family has come to love this one even better...

1 - 8 oz
cream cheese, softened
6 - 8 oz
imitation crab - or crab meat - chopped or shredded
1/2 c
sweet red pepper, diced small
green onion, chopped - plus tops
1/2 c
shredded, cheddar cheese
1/4 c
fresh parsley, chopped or dried
1 tsp
hot pepper sauce
powder to taste
with paprika
5 - 6
6 inch flour tortilla's

How to Make Tasty Crab N Cream Cheese Pinwheels


  • 1In a medium sized bowl; beat cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the parsley, red pepper, sauce, onion, cheese and crab. Sprinkle with desired chili powder.
  • 2Lay out your tortilla's

    Spread about 1/4 cup onto each tortilla.
  • 3Roll tightly. I cut the ends with kitchen shears.
  • 4Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  • 5Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

    Slice each roll into 5 - 6 slices and place on a sprayed baking sheet.
  • 6Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with paprika and enjoy!
