The idea of making my own cocktail sauce with grand marnier popped into my head when I wanted to make something with shrimp and avocado.
There is actually no cooking time but I couldn't post without adding it :)

jumbo shrimps, cooked

avocado
1
papaya
1 tsp
honey
1 tsp
lime juice
1/2 Tbsp
dijon mustard
1 Tbsp
tomato paste
2 Tbsp
grand marnier orange liqueur
1 Tbsp
mayonnaise
1/8 tsp
salt
1 dash(es)
white pepper
3 1/2 oz
greek yoghurt
2 Tbsp
macadamia nuts, chopped (opt.)

How to Make Shrimps with Grand Marnier Cocktail Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1For the sauce:
  • 2Combine honey, lime juice, dijon mustard, tomato paste, grand marnier, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and Greek yoghurt.
  • 3Peel and slice avocado and papaya and arrange on two platters.
  • 4Top with cooked shrimps and the grand marnier cocktail sauce.
  • 5Top with chopped Macadamia nuts (opt.)
