Shrimps with Grand Marnier Cocktail Sauce

The idea of making my own cocktail sauce with grand marnier popped into my head when I wanted to make something with shrimp and avocado.
There is actually no cooking time but I couldn't post without adding it :)

  • 1/2 lb
    jumbo shrimps, cooked
  • 1
  • 1
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp
    grand marnier orange liqueur
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1 dash(es)
    white pepper
  • 3 1/2 oz
    greek yoghurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    macadamia nuts, chopped (opt.)

How to Make Shrimps with Grand Marnier Cocktail Sauce


  1. For the sauce:
  2. Combine honey, lime juice, dijon mustard, tomato paste, grand marnier, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and Greek yoghurt.
  3. Peel and slice avocado and papaya and arrange on two platters.
  4. Top with cooked shrimps and the grand marnier cocktail sauce.
  5. Top with chopped Macadamia nuts (opt.)
