shrimp cheeseball
This recipe was given to me by a very good friend after she served it at a bbq. It is a big hit with my family and everytime we get together it is the first thing that everyone goes for. We seldom have any leftovers.

Ingredients
- 1 can broken shrimp
- 2 packages 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon dill weed
- - seasoning salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon margarine
How To Make shrimp cheeseball
-
Step 1Open can of shrimp and put into fine sieve and rinse under cold water as you mash up the shrimp to get rid of any large pieces. When you are done rinsing squeeze all the excess water out of the shrimp with your hands and place in bowl.
-
Step 2Add your cream cheese, dill and parsley to the bowl and mix thoroughly until well blended. After you have blended it well you will add the seasoning salt and continue to blend together until you get the taste that you want. (It all depends on how salty you want the cheese ball to be.)
-
Step 3When the cheese ball is well mixed you will form into a ball and place in the fridge until you are ready to serve. You can coat it in crushed bbq chips if you want but my family likes it without any coating.
-
Step 4Pull the cheese ball out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it to allow it to soften a little. Serve with assorted crackers.
