seafood stuffed mushrooms
I brought this to a family get-together one time, and now it's what I have to bring every single time we get together. Sometimes someone will ask if they can stop by and bring the ingredients for me to make them a batch to take home with them. I don't know if I will get to show them I can make anything else now. All they want is stuffed mushrooms.

These seafood stuffed mushrooms are the ultimate small bite for any party. They're cheesy and filled with seafood. We were slightly concerned about the lack of seasoning. But the shallots, mozzarella cheese, and seasoned bread crumbs add the right amount of seasoning to let the seafood flavor shine.

Ingredients
- 3 packages stuffing mushrooms (approximately 10 in ea)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 2 - shallots, chopped
- 1 pound small cooked shrimp
- 1 package imitation crab meat
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 large egg
- 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
How To Make seafood stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Trim around the circle where the stem was to open it up a bit more. Place on a baking sheet.

Step 2Drizzle with a mixture of olive oil and half of the melted butter.

Step 3Bake mushrooms in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Drain off mushrooms and then set aside.

Step 4Meanwhile, saute shallots until nice and caramelized.

Step 5Dice the shrimp and crab meat into smaller pieces.

Step 6Mix shallots, shrimp, crab meat, cheese, egg, and bread crumbs.

Step 7Stuff mushrooms with a heaping scoop of mixture.

Step 8Drizzle with remaining melted butter.

Step 9Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until nice and browned.
