This is a great recipe to give shrimp just the right flavor. Very, very good.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 20 - uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined or use precooked, peeled, deveined shrimp*
- 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make new orleans shrimp appetizer

Step 1In a large cast iron skillet over high heat, add oil and cook shrimp until just done, turning pink. Remove shrimp and set aside. (*If shrimp is precooked, wait and add shrimp at the end of the recipe.)

Step 2Add green onions and cook 1 minute. Add wine and reduce by half.

Step 3When reduced, add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, cayenne pepper and paprika. Cook 1 minute. Reduce heat to low.

Step 4Add butter and melt. Add shrimp to pan; toss well to coat and heat through.
