This recipe is from a cousin in Philadelphia, MS. It's good whether you are having company or it's just you and a friend. Have plenty of crackers on hand.

1-6 oz can(s)
shrimp (or 1 lb of fresh boiled and peeled shrimp)
1-8 oz pkg
cream cheese, softened
1/2 c
1/4 c
chili sauce
1 c
minced green onions (use less if you prefer less onion taste)
1/2 c
finely chopped celery
3 Tbsp
fress squeeze lemon juice
2 Tbsp
chopped fresh parsley
1/2 tsp
1/8 tsp
ground red pepper

How to Make Gulf Coast Shrimp Dip


  • 1Finely chop shrimp and set aside.
  • 2Chop fresh parsley and celery. Mince green onions.
  • 3Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and chili sauce in a bowl.
  • 4Add the green onions and the rest of the ingredients except for the shrimp.
  • 5Stir well before adding shrimp.
  • 6Chill several hours before serving.
