This recipe is from a cousin in Philadelphia, MS. It's good whether you are having company or it's just you and a friend. Have plenty of crackers on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1-6 oz can shrimp (or 1 lb of fresh boiled and peeled shrimp)
  • 1-8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 cup minced green onions (use less if you prefer less onion taste)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 3 tablespoons fress squeeze lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

How To Make gulf coast shrimp dip

  • Step 1
    Finely chop shrimp and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Chop fresh parsley and celery. Mince green onions.
  • Step 3
    Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and chili sauce in a bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add the green onions and the rest of the ingredients except for the shrimp.
  • Step 5
    Stir well before adding shrimp.
  • Step 6
    Chill several hours before serving.
