Ingredients
- 1 pound squid rings
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs, plain
- 1.1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- - salt/pepper
- 1 teaspoon parsley, finely chopped
How To Make crispy fried calamari

Step 1place squid rings in milk, refrigerate about 30 mins.

Step 2meanwhile, combine in a bowl, the rest of the ingredients, except canola oil.

Step 3put canola oil in a skillet on med high temperature.

Step 4drain the squid rings, and drench in the mixture, shaking excess off...in small batches fry about 2 mins per side.

Step 5drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt, while still warm....serve with lemon wedges and Skordalia( See recipe)dipping sauce or marinara sauce.
