My family loves this warm crab dip and ask for me to make it every holiday and sometimes just because.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (neufatchel)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce (sylvia's)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chives, dried

How To Make delectable warm crab dip

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 350 Cream cheese should be softened (leave out at room temp or soften in oven/microwave - carefully) Light (neufatchel) cream cheese is just as good.
  • Step 2
    Drain any fluid from crab meat and set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a oven safe dish, mix softened cream cheese, horseradish, lemon juice, mayo, hot sauce and lemon juice. (more or less hot sauce can be used depending on your preference)
  • Step 4
    Fold in crab meat and chives. Try to leave some lumps in crab meat.
  • Step 5
    Bake in oven uncovered for approx. 25 mins until bubbly and a little crusty brown around the edges.
  • Step 6
    Serve warm with your favorite wheat crackers, crustini or even spoon into Tostito scoops.
