How to Make Savory Bacon Wrapped Chicken Strips
- Melt 2-3 Tablespoons of butter in a shallow baking pan. Season chicken w salt, pepper,garlic powder and chili powder,wrap in bacon and roll in brown sugar.
- Place the strips in the pan, Bake at 350 till glazed and golden brown, for 15 minutes on each side, for a total of about 30 minutes. Because of the brown sugar and butter they tend to burn easily, so check them often.
- Alternate method: Don't have bacon or choose not to use it? I have rolled these in the spices, then dredged the strips in Bisquick, then pressed them into the butter in the pan, turning to coat, then baked as directed above. YUM!
