My family enjoyed this appetizer at the local Bubba-Que's Restaurant and, being me, I just had to make it less expensive! We actually eat this as a meal with some good ol' buttered corn on the cob.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Crispy salted crinkle cut french fries smothered in pulled pork with barbecue sauce and melted cheese. How could these not be good? Easy to make, these would be a delicious game day snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen crinkle cut fries
  • 1 package refrigerated pulled pork (no sauce)
  • 1 bag cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup your preferred bbq sauce

How To Make redneck nachos

  • Baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray.
    Step 1
    Preheat oven. Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • French fries arranged on baking sheet.
    Step 2
    Spread crinkle cut fries out in single layer and bake according to package.
  • Warming up the pulled pork.
    Step 3
    Warm pulled pork and sauce together in microwave or in a sauce pan on the stove until hot and bubbly.
  • Putting fries on a plate.
    Step 4
    Arrange cooked fries on a plate.
  • Topping fries with pulled pork.
    Step 5
    Top with pulled pork.
  • Sprinkling on cheese.
    Step 6
    Sprinkle on the cheese and enjoy!
  • Redneck Nachos with cheese melted.
    Step 7
    I keep additional sauce on the table for those who like to really heap it on.
