if ever there was a top-ten list of the first words spoken by a Southern child, I bet "country ham" would be on it. Country ham tastes like nothing else. This easy dip takes advantage of it, while the peach preserves soften it.
I like to serve this dip with crisp celery sticks, green apple slices, green grapes, and endive scoops. Choose straight forward Melba toast or Water crackers

cream cheese
4 oz
( about 1/2 cup) diced cooked country ham
3 Tbsp
peach perserves
1/4 c
green onion, chopped
1 Tbsp
dijon mustard
1/4 c
chopped unsallted, toasted pecans


1Combine the cream cheese, ham, preserves, onion, and mustard in a food processor. Process until almost smooth.
2Spoon the dip into a serving dish and garnish with the nuts
