peaches and cream ham dip

if ever there was a top-ten list of the first words spoken by a Southern child, I bet "country ham" would be on it. Country ham tastes like nothing else. This easy dip takes advantage of it, while the peach preserves soften it. I like to serve this dip with crisp celery sticks, green apple slices, green grapes, and endive scoops. Choose straight forward Melba toast or Water crackers

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces ( about 1/2 cup) diced cooked country ham
  • 3 tablespoons peach perserves
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped unsallted, toasted pecans

How To Make peaches and cream ham dip

  • Step 1
    Combine the cream cheese, ham, preserves, onion, and mustard in a food processor. Process until almost smooth.
  • Step 2
    Spoon the dip into a serving dish and garnish with the nuts
