This is a quick and flavorful appetizer you can whip up in 20 minutes and you don't need alot of ingredients.

    1 cup milk
  • ·
    1/2 stick butter
  • ·
    1 cup all purpose flour
  • ·
    4 eggs
  • ·
    8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • ·
    1/3 cup thinly sliced scallion
  • ·
    1 cup shredded mexican cheese blend
  • ·
    3/4 teaspoon salt

How to Make Bacon Cheddar Bites


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2 baking sheets with cooking spray. In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine milk and butter until butter is melted and mixture is hot.
  2. Add flour and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat and stir in 1 egg until mixture is smooth. Repeat with remaining eggs, adding 1 egg at a time until thoroughly combined. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Drop mixture by teaspoons onto prepared baking sheets.
    Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Serve warm. Serve this with picante sauce for dipping.
