World's simplest dip and a family favorite! You can add more onion soup mix if you like.

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 pkg
    lipton onion soup mix (give the package a good shake before adding to mix up)
  • 1 c
    milk (more or less)
  • 1/2 tsp
    yellow mustard (optional)

How to Make Aunt Susie's Dip


  1. Soften cream cheese at room temperature - or microwave for a minute if you're in a pinch.
  2. Add onion soup mix & milk and mix with hand mixer until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate for an hour at least. Left over dip? add a little milk & mix to thin down. You can add a small amount of yellow mustard if you like.
