venison fried wontons w soy garlic dipping sauce
Made these for Christmas Eve party and should have doubled the batch. I never made this before, just found the recipe on JAP so I didn't want to waste meat if the recipe didn't turn out. Well this was everyone favorite at the party. They were gone in a flash. They are that good and very simple to make.

Ingredients
- 1 pound venison meat chopped small
- 4 tablespoons soy
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 - inch piece ginger grated
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 teaspoons chili paste
- 48 - wonton wrappers
- - oil for frying
- SAUCE
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup stir fry sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
How To Make venison fried wontons w soy garlic dipping sauce

Step 1Place the meat, ginger, and garlic in food processor. Mince to fine texture. Add the remaining ingredients except wonton wrappers and let marinate in refrigerator for about an hour.

Step 2Mix the sauce ingredients together and place in fridge until ready to serve.

Step 3Remove the meat mixture from fridge and place about an inch size ball in the middle of each wonton wrapper. Dip finger in water and spread on edges of wonton. Fold in triangle and then pinch sides together.

Step 4Heat deep fryer to 30 degrees. Working in batches fry the wontons for about 2 minutes. Place on paper towel to drain. Serve with dipping sauce.
