Great for parties or a hot afternoon lunch. To make a lighter version, use fat free sour cream and low fat cheese.

Ingredients For taco dip (cold)

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or ground chuck
  • 1 can
    refried beans
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 1 pkg
    grated mexican style cheese
  • 2 c
    diced tomatoes
  • 3 c
    chopped lettuce

How To Make taco dip (cold)

  • 1
    Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in taco seasoning until blended then add can of refried beans. Spread into 9X12 pan and refrigerate until cool. Spread sour cream on top of cooled mixture.

    Chop lettuce and tomato. Spread, cheese, lettuce and tomato on top of beef and bean mixture and chill. Serve with taco chips.
