Ingredients

  • 1 package 16 ounce smokies
  • 1 package bacon cut into 3rds
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar

How To Make sweet and savory bacon wrapped smokies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly coat with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Wrap each sausage link with a bacon piece, overlapping the bacon piece at the end. Press the end of the bacon piece to seal. Place in baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle brown sugar over smokies then roll smokies over and sprinke remainig brown sugar over them.
  • Step 4
    Bake about 30 minutes or until the bacon is browned. Serve immediately.
  • Step 5
    Make in advance, just store in refrigerator before baking them. I put mine in a crock pot after cooking them to keep them warm.
