Ingredients

1 box captains wafers or butter cracker
1 pound bacon
1 2/3 cups brown sugar

How To Make shirley's bacon appetizer

Step 1

Cut each bacon strip into 3 pieces.

Step 2

Spread just enough brown sugar on each wafer to cover top.
Step 3

Place one bacon strip over each wafer ,tuck any overlap under edge of wafer.
Step 4

Place in oven on baking pan, bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Watch carefully, will brown rapidly in last couple of minutes. Serve hot or cold.
