I prepared these in 6 ramekins about 4 or 5 inches across. I had just enough to fill six of these ramekins up.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of italian sausage
  • 1 jar pizza sauce
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 large pizza dough

How To Make pizza pot pie

  • Step 1
    Spray the bowls with cooking spray especially the edges. Brown sausage with onions and garlic. After browning I removed excess oil from sausage by letting it rest on a paper towel on a plate. In the bowls layer cheese, sausage then sauce. Roll out the pizza dough and cover each ramekin with dough. Pinch dough around the edges of ramekins. Bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes OR until GOLDEN brown. to serve turn upside down on a plate and use a butter knife to release the crusts from ramekins. Remove bowl and enjoy.
