This is out of one of my community cookbooks, which anytime any local organization puts together cookbooks I usually pick one up. When I make this I put it into one of my crockpots on low to keep it warm.

Ingredients

  • - 1 pound bulk sausage
  • - 1 pound ground beef
  • - 1 large onion, chopped
  • - 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt(you can substitute 3-4 garlic cloves, cooked with the meats and onion)
  • - pepper
  • - 2 pounds shredded velveeta cheese
  • - 2 - 10 1/2 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup
  • - 1 - 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped(optional)

How To Make man dip

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet over medium heat cook sausage, ground beef and onion(and garlic) until meats are browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until the cheese is melted and the mixture is heated through.
  • Step 3
    Serve warm with corn or tortilla chips.
