The horseradish spread and onions for this yummy sandwich can be made ahead. These are delicious little party sandwiches...sure to please at any get together, and can be put together in a jiffy. So good too!

Ingredients
- SAUCE
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup fresh grated horseradish root
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - fresh cracked pepper to taste
- CARMELIZED ONIONS
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 large sweet onions - thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- fresh - ground pepper to taste
- 32 - cocktail sandwich buns
- 1 1/2 pounds deli sliced roast beef
How To Make lil beef & caramelized onion sandwiches

Step 1In a medium bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the horseradish, mustard and salt. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes before using.

Step 2Heat oil in a dutch oven over medium heat. Add onions. Cook, stirring often, 30 minutes or until caramelized. Stir in vinegar and pepper. Remove from heat, cool slightly. Split rolls in half. Spread tops and bottoms of rolls with the horseradish spread. Place roast beef on bottoms of rolls. Top beef with caramelized onions. Cover with tops. Enjoy!
