1 1/2 cups sweet wine - like concord grape wine
2/3 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup ketchup
1 package cocktail wieners or regular hot dogs cut into bite-sized pieces
1/4 cup mustard, spicy brown (optional)

How To Make hot dogs in wine sauce

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except wieners. Bring to boil and allow sauce to reduce to desired consistency.

Step 2

Add wieners. Simmer until hot dogs are hot enough to eat.
