What to do with leftover cooked sausage? Had a can biscuits and sliced my cooked sausage and wrapped to freeze. This is a easy app to have on hand If company should stop by. I had with my cold green bean salad. Perfect lunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • - pre-cooked italian sausage (cut into bite sizes)
  • - italian dressing mix or seasoning
  • - long baking sheet
  • - wax paper

How To Make freezer to oven sausage bites

  • Step 1
    Open biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4s. Flatten out. Take sausage bites and wrap biscuit around, You can add things to biscuit like cheese, fresh basil, or sliced peppers, pinch closed, sprinkle each wrapped biscuit with italian seasoning. Lay out on long baking dish lined with wax paper and freeze for an hour. When frozen remove and store in closed container till ready to use. Serve with favorite marinara sauce. Ready for quick app. When needed pull out of freezer set oven to 400 and brush with garlic butter and bake til golden brown.
