This is a very easy, tasty appetizer. It does use whiskey but the alcohol cooks off.

Ingredients

2 lb
hot dogs, cut into into 4ths
1 c
brown sugar
1 c
whiskey
1 c
ketchup

How to Make Drunkin' Dogs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix brown sugar, whiskey and ketchup in a sauce pan. Simmer, one to two hours over low heat.
  • 2Add the hotdog pieces and continue simmering until sauce is reduced and thick.
  • 3Serve warm using toothpicks.
