deviled ham spread

This is a great as an appetizer spread served with your favorite dry cracker, or it's also a wonderful sandwich spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked ham, cubed
  • 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish cream (i use a tablespoon, but use as much or as little as you like)
  • 1-5 dash hot sauce or hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 pinch caraway seeds, or to taste
  • 1/4 cup celery, very finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, very finely chopped

How To Make deviled ham spread

  • Step 1
    Add the ham, mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, pepper, paprika and caraway seeds (if using) to a food processor. Pulse to puree the ingredients to desired texture.
  • Step 2
    Stir in chopped celery and chopped onion, and cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Step 3
    It makes a great appetizer spread to serve with dry crackers. Or, it's also great as a sandwich spread.
