barb's meat lovers bruschetta
Was bored and wanted something different. I love Bruschetta but was also in the mood for meat and, VOILA! It was so yummy that I had to share it with all of you.

Ingredients
- 1 - loaf of italian bread or bread of your choice
- 1 pound loose italian sausage
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- - scant salt, if any
- 1 - 14.5 oz. can of petite diced tomatoes, with juice
- 2/3 cup tomato sauce
- - handful basil leaves, chopped
- - black pepper or cayenne pepper to taste
- 2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- - sliced provolone cheese
How To Make barb's meat lovers bruschetta

Step 1Brown sausage with garlic powder, Italian seasoning and scant salt, if any.

Step 2Add can of diced tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, and basil. Let cook for a while to meld flavors. Add Mozzarella cheese and stir to melt. Consistency should be a bit pasty. Keep on very low flame while you toast the bread.

Step 3Brush one or both sides of 3/4 inch sliced Italian bread with olive oil (I use avocado oil) and toast in frying pan over medium-high heat. When toasted, add a goodly portion of the meat mixture on top of the bread. Cover with a slice of Provolone and put in heated oven to melt. Serve hot.
