Bacon Poppers

Our office had a going away party for one of the gals who was moving on to another job. One of the ladies in the office made these and they were really good. There was not one drop left from two pounds of bacon. I had to get the recipe and share it with everyone. It is simple to make and does not take a lot of ingredients. I am sure you could choose your own cracker....I even thought about just marinating the bacon in maple syrup. Enjoy!

How to Make Bacon Poppers

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut each slice of cheese into 6 squares so that you have twelve squares.
  2. Mix the mustard and brown sugar together and spread on one side of the bacon.
  3. Turn the bacon over and place the cracker at one end of the bacon and place a piece of cheese on the cracker. Roll the bacon around the cracker in a spiral shape and place on the baking sheet. If you like you may add spices before rolling the bacon around the cracker. Lay on a backing sheet with the end of the bacon down. Bake for about 20 minutes until the bacon is crisp. Place colored toothpicks in to serve.
