My Grandkids love this yogurt recipe. They would eat it all day if I let them. Great for entertaining too!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (18 oz) fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 - granny smith or red delicious apples, sliced

How To Make apple slices with yogurt dip

  • Step 1
    Drain yogurt overnight in the refrigerator to create yogurt cheese. To do this, place a double layer of coffee filters in a sifter/strainer. Pour the yogurt on top of the filters. Cover with plastic wrap so no refrigerator odors are absorbed. Place a small bowl beneath the sifter/strainer to capture the draining whey. In the morning you'll have perfect yogurt cheese.
  • Step 2
    Stir honey and cinnamon into the yogurt cheese. Serve the dip with freshly sliced Granny Smith or Red Delicious apples.
  • Step 3
    Tip: Try different flavors of yogurt and a variety of fruits. Use whatever's in season and available!
