Ingredients For salami and apple dippers
2 slices gruyere cheese, halved
2 slices hard salami
4 slices pink lady apple
4 slices baguette, 1/2 inch thick
1 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
How To Make salami and apple dippers
1Layer a quarter of the cheese, half the salami half the apple and another quarter of the cheese on to of each of 2 baguette slices. Top with remaining baguette slices to form sandwiches.
2Brush outsides of sandwiches with melted butter. Cook sandwiches in cast iron skillet over medium heat, covered, til golden on both sides, 5 to 8 minutes. serves 2
