jd's jalapeno dip

My husband and I developed this dip for a family reunion not realizing that it would be such a hit. You can adapt this for milder tastes or hotter as you wish. The slight green color is a conversation starter.

Ingredients For jd's jalapeno dip

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2-3 oz
    sliced, pickled jalapenos
  • 1 c
    celery stalk chopped
  • 1 pinch
    garlic powder

How To Make jd's jalapeno dip

  • 1
    Place celery and jalapenos in food processor and chop to small pieces.

    Add cream cheese and garlic powder and blend until well mixed. This will not be smooth dip but appear rather chunky.

    If you desire this dish to be hotter, add more jalapenos. If milder taste is desire, try using a green pepper in place of the jalapenos. Chill and enjoy with pretzels or crachers.
