hot hamburger dip

My Mom used to make this dip sometimes for her bridge club on Saturday nights. I would love eating the leftovers on Sunday :-) It may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes great!! This dip was created before crock pots and microwaves were popular (just the good ol' stove and oven)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion,chopped
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make hot hamburger dip

  • Step 1
    Saute beef until browned. Drain drippings. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and stir over low heat until the cheese melts. Keep warm and serve with corn chips or other chips. (remember, it may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes delicious)
