Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 lb
    johnsonville spicy italian sausage, bulk
  • 1/2
    onion, chopped
  • 4
    garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 can(s)
    rotel
  • 1 tsp
    cilantro stems, chopped
  • 2 lb
    velveeta, cut in slices
  • 1 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper-to taste

    corn tortillas, cut in triangles then deep fried

How to Make Fast Fannie's Fiery Cheesy Sausage Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Add oil to skillet, fry sausage until almost done. Toss in onion and garlic. Fry until onions are translucent. Add Rotel and cilantro stems to skillet. Cook for about a minute or so. Add Velveeta, cumin and cayenne pepper. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until cheese has melted and bubbly. If too thick, add a little milk. Serve with seasoned fried tortilla chips. Enjoy!
