Ingredients
- - 8 slices of thick cut bacon
- - 1 large onion chopped
- - 1 tsp salt
- - 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- - 2 cloves garlic chopped
- - 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- - 1 cup sour cream
- - 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
- - 10 ounce can diced tomatoes with chilies, drained
How To Make crock pot cheesy bacon onion dip

Step 1Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until slightly crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel. Chop when cooled to the touch.

Step 2Drain the bacon grease and leave 1 tablespoon in the skillet. Add the onion to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Cook for 1 - 2 minutes.

Step 3Stir in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Mix the cream cheese and sour cream together in the slow cooker.

Step 4Add mozzarella cheese, onions, bacon and diced tomatoes. Heat on high for 1 -2 hours until warm and cheese has melted. Serve with crackers or chips.
