Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cans (7oz) iced green chiles
  • 1 pound jack cheese, shredded (i used mexican shredded)
  • 1 cup buttermilk baking mix (bisquick)
  • 3 - eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk

How To Make chili relleno pie

  • Step 1
    In a 9x13 baking dish, melt butter. Sprinkle chiles over butter. Spread cheese over chiles.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl, mix buttermilk biscuit mix, eggs, salt and milk. Pour over cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake in preheated 350 over, 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top
