Game Time! These boneless wings will be a hit at your next tailgate. Cooked on the grill the bacon gets nice and crispy and protects the blue cheese which gets nice and melty (: Then it is brushed with apple butter barbeque sauce which thickens the last few minutes of cooking. Serve with Ranch or french onion dip. Make more than you think you should...there are never enough of these! These can be baked too.

  • 2 lg
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • blue cheese, sliced thin
  • apple butter barbeque sauce - recipe on jap
  • bacon slices

How To Make bacon wrapped chicken with applebutter bbq sauce

    Start your grill or preheat your oven. Cut chicken breast in to bite sized pieces making sure they will be large enough to not fall through your grill grates. Salt and pepper to taste. If you have it try seasoning with Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon Seasoning - it's too die for!

    Place sliced blue cheese on top of chicken pieces.

    Wrap with bacon making sure it is not too tight and covering the blue cheese completely.

    Cook until internal temperature has reached 165 and bacon is cooked thoroughly. Brush with apple butter barbeque sauce and cook a few minutes more. Enjoy the game!
