1-1/2 cups breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs
1 cup broth or water
2 whole eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp savory
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
6 slices bacon to line the pan
