INGREDIENTS
1 pound dried navy or great northern beans
6 cups water (plus water for soaking)
½ pound bacon, diced
1 medium yellow onion, diced
⅓ cup molasses
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ cup ketchup
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 ½ teaspoons salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 cups liquid reserved from cooking beans
